Join Liverpool Hospital's Perioperative Unit and play a vital role in supporting safe, high-quality patient care throughout the surgical journey. As a Wardsperson, you'll be part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team that helps ensure patients are prepared, supported and transferred safely for their procedures.
- Safely transfer patients between the Perioperative Unit and Operating Theatres, contributing to a seamless surgical experience.
- Support nursing and clinical teams with patient preparation, positioning and manual handling using appropriate equipment and safe work practices.
- Maintain a clean, organised and patient-focused environment by preparing beds, trolleys and clinical areas to the highest standards.
- Build positive relationships with patients, families and members of the perioperative team through professional and compassionate communication.
- Contribute to service efficiency and patient safety by assisting with urgent situations and supporting the day-to-day flow of the unit.

This role requires safely transferring patients, preparing beds and equipment, maintaining infection prevention standards, and protecting patient privacy and confidentiality. Can you provide an example of how you have followed safety procedures and maintained confidentiality in a previous role?
