About the role:
In this role, you will coordinate the preparation and maintenance of theatre lists, manage schedule changes, and work closely with the Nurse Unit Manager to ensure accurate and efficient theatre scheduling. You will attend meetings, record minutes, and follow up on agreed actions. Your day-to-day responsibilities will also include auditing theatre data to maintain accuracy, responding to staff enquiries, supporting correct data entry, and producing reports that inform service planning and decision-making. Previous experience in health administration is essential.
About you:
You have proven experience managing patient bookings and coordinating theatre lists, with the ability to keep processes organised and running smoothly. You excel at building strong relationships and rapport with stakeholders, and bring a solid administrative background, with experience in health highly regarded.
You’re someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering accurate, high-quality work. With strong attention to detail, you ensure data is precise and tasks are completed thoroughly. You're an effective problem-solver, able to think on your feet and handle challenges calmly and efficiently. Clear and professional in your communication, you’re comfortable working with a wide range of staff and teams. You’re well-organised, able to manage and prioritise your workload, and work confidently both independently and as part of a team. You’re also highly skilled in Excel and confident using data and digital tools to support day-to-day operations.
