About the Opportunity
The Senior Digital Health Analyst within our Single Digital Patient Record Implementation Authority (SDPRIA) will support the design, configuration, testing and implementation of digital health solutions that enable clinical care and operational improvements across NSW Health, including the state’s transformational Single Digital Patient Record (SDPR) initiative – a secure, integrated electronic medical record supporting clinicians with real-time patient information.
You will join a key multidisciplinary team within eHealth NSW’s SDPR delivery program – aligned to NSW Health’s digital centre of excellence. The User & Provider Team partners with clinicians, Local Health Districts, specialty networks and technical stakeholders to ensure the Single Digital Patient Record is designed, configured and adopted in ways that genuinely support clinical workflows and improve care delivery across the state.
This role offers the opportunity to be deeply involved in delivering one of Australia’s largest digital health transformation programs, working with Epic’s industry-leading electronic medical record platform, stakeholder partners across NSW Health, and tools including cloud-based infrastructure, configuration & testing frameworks to shape how clinicians access unified patient data across the state
In this role, you will:
- Partner with clinical and technical stakeholders to design, configure and implement digital health solutions that meet complex clinical and operational requirements.
- Translate clinical workflows and technical concepts into plain language, enabling informed decision-making for both clinical and non-technical audiences.
- Lead stakeholder engagement including facilitation of design governance, working groups and co-design discussions to shape solutions.
- Define current and future state processes, draft business requirements, and maintain best-practice documentation that supports configuration and implementation.
- Support testing activities including configuration validation, investigation and defect resolution through agreed test processes, and contribute to continuous improvement through lessons learned.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Brings tertiary qualifications in a health discipline (Medical, Nursing, Pharmacy, Allied Health or Health Information Management) and/or extensive hands-on experience in a public healthcare.
- Brings demonstrable experience implementing digital health initiatives in clinical settings, with deep understanding of clinical workflows, models of care and health system requirements.
- Has strong analytical skills and can work effectively with diverse stakeholders to define business needs, configure solutions and solve complex problems.
- Demonstrates excellent communication skills allow you to simplify complex technical issues and translate between clinical and technical domains.
- Is comfortable managing competing priorities within a collaborative, evolving digital environment and contribute positively to team culture.
