About the Opportunity
As a Migration Analyst within our Single Digital Patient Record Implementation Authority (SDPRIA), you will support state‑wide data migration by extracting, analysing, transforming and loading data from multiple systems into a central platform. You will translate business requirements into technical specifications, develop documentation, troubleshoot data transport methods, and prepare data in formats such as HL7, XML and JSON. Working closely with vendors, SMEs and technical teams, you will help plan and execute migration activities in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
In this role, you will:
- Extract, analyse, transform and load data from multiple source systems into the state‑wide target platform.
- Translate business and project requirements into technical specifications, including documentation of target data elements.
- Review, advise on, and troubleshoot data transport methods, ensuring accurate and reliable movement of data.
- Prepare and format source system data (e.g. HL7, XML, JSON) for migration and support end‑to‑end migration activities.
- Work closely with vendors, SMEs and technical teams to plan, coordinate and execute migration tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- You have strong technical skills in data extraction, transformation and loading (ETL), with experience working across multiple source systems.
- You can interpret business requirements and confidently translate them into clear, accurate technical specifications and documentation.
- You have experience working with structured data formats such as HL7, XML and JSON, and understand data transport methods and troubleshooting.
- You build productive relationships with stakeholders, vendors and technical teams, and communicate clearly in fast‑paced, multi‑team environments.
- You are organised, analytical and adaptable, able to balance competing priorities while contributing positively to a collaborative team culture.
You will succeed in this role if you:
- Enjoy working in an environment where no two days are the same.
- Are motivated by tight deadlines and problem solving on the go.
- Can juggle multiple priorities while staying calm and outcome focused.
- Thrive when collaborating with others to deliver results in a fast moving space.
