Nepean Hospital is seeking compassionate Registered Nurse's to join our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in a Permanent Full time or Part time role. This role provides specialised Nursing care to premature and critically ill neonates, supporting their complex medical needs while working closely with families in a highly specialised environment. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team delivering family-centred, evidence-based care in a modern and supportive NICU setting.
This is a role where you will provide comprehensive Nursing care to neonates requiring intensive and high-dependency care, monitor and manage complex clinical conditions and specialised equipment, support and educate parents and families throughout their NICU journey and collaborate with neonatologists and the multidisciplinary team to deliver optimal care.
You will bring to the role strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, technical skills, excellent communication and family-centred care approach. You will work with a supportive and experienced Neonatal team and have the opportunity to work in a high-acuity, specialised clinical environment with professional development and learning opportunities.

What you will bring to the role:
- Current registration to practice as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA)
- Demonstrated experience and clinical skill as a Registered Nurse (including completion of a new graduate year or equivalent experience working as a registered Nurse).
- Demonstrated capacity to provide effective nursing care that is person centred, family inclusive and culturally sensitive to people accessing health services.
- Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work
- Demonstrated effective communications written and verbal skills
- Demonstrated commitment to professional development
- Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team
- Ability to work a flexible roster, day evening or night shift across all days of the week.
