As a Registered Nurse in our Acute Medical Unit, you will be responsible for delivering high quality nursing care to patients with a wide range of medical conditions. You’ll work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide timely assessment, treatment and coordination of care in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. In this position, you will ensure the provision of safe, compassionate, person-centred health care in collaboration with patients, families, and carers.

What you will bring to the role

  1. Current registration to practice as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA)
  2. Demonstrated experience and clinical skill as a Registered Nurse (including completion of a new graduate year or equivalent experience working as a registered Nurse).
  3. Demonstrated capacity to provide effective nursing care that is person centred, family inclusive and culturally sensitive to people accessing health services.
  4. Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work
  5. Demonstrated effective communications written and verbal skills
  6. Demonstrated commitment to professional development
  7. Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team
  8. Ability to work a flexible roster, day evening or night shift across all days of the week.
