Achieve Something Great
Join the Campbelltown Hospital Pharmacy Service and be part of an exciting transformation within a brand-new facility. This is your opportunity to contribute to a broad range of pharmacy services across inpatient and outpatient settings, including clinical services, dispensing, distribution, and manufacturing. As part of a rotational program, you will work closely with clinical leads to develop and deliver specialised clinical services, helping to ensure the safe, appropriate, and cost-effective use of medicines. Be part of an innovative, supportive team that values continuous improvement, staff feedback, and creating a vibrant, patient-centred environment where you can truly make a difference.

Are You the Right Fit?
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable Pharmacist with a strong clinical foundation and a proactive, “can-do” attitude. You thrive in a busy hospital environment, can prioritise competing demands, and are confident working as part of multidisciplinary teams. With solid therapeutic knowledge, excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, and a commitment to medication safety and quality use of medicines, you are ready to take on a key role—including acting as a pharmacy point of contact within clinical services. You communicate effectively with patients, carers, and clinicians, and are committed to ongoing professional development, education, and contributing to the growth of others.

Selection Criteria
To help us assess your suitability for the role, please tell us as much as you can about yourself in response to the questions below.

  • Full Pharmacist registration with AHPRA with no restrictions to the scope of practice.
  • Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with all levels of hospital staff, and patients and carers.
  • Experience in the provision of clinical Pharmacy services preferably in a hospital setting consistent with the Standards of Practice of the Society of Hospital Pharmacists of Australia.
  • Demonstrated competence in clinical drug knowledge and experience in applying that knowledge appropriately to clinical settings.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to promote teamwork and to supervise the activities of support staff.
  • Proven organisational and time management skills and the ability to prioritise according to Organisational needs.
  • Demonstrated understanding and application of quality improvement methodology
