Deliver evidence-based outpatient rehabilitation, manage diverse caseloads and build independence through clinic, home and virtual Occupational Therapy.

Remuneration:  $76,364 - $108,943 per annum
Hours Per Week: 38 (Job Share may be considered for part time hours)
Location: Auburn District Hospital

What you'll be doing 
In this role, you will provide high-quality Occupational Therapy services to rehabilitation outpatients, working collaboratively to support recovery, function and independence.

·       Assess, plan and deliver evidence-based OT interventions within scope of practice

·       Manage a varied outpatient caseload including clinic-based, home and virtual care

·       Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate optimal patient care

·       Maintain accurate clinical documentation and data collection in electronic systems

·       Contribute to student supervision, quality improvement and ongoing professional development

Essential Criteria:

·       Qualification: Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy 

·       Registration: Current general registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist 


Selection Criteria: 

1.     Demonstrated clinical experience working as an occupational therapist in a rehabilitation setting.

2.     Experience working with clients with complex neurological conditions providing occupational therapy including the following areas: upper limb intervention, functional retraining, cognitive assessment and retraining, home modifications and assistive technology.

3.     Skills in planning, implementing, and evaluating intervention programmes.

4.     Ability to work both independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team.

5.     Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills and effective time management and organisational skills.

6.     Commitment to ongoing education, professional development, and quality improvement.

7.     NSW Driver’s Licence
