What you'll be doing
In this role, you will deliver high-quality, evidence-based occupational therapy services to patients with chronic and complex needs, supporting their independence, safety and quality of life.
· Assess, plan and deliver occupational therapy interventions within scope of practice
· Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient outcomes
· Maintain accurate documentation and data collection within electronic medical records
· Provide clinical support and supervision to students as required
· Participate in quality improvement, risk management and patient safety initiatives

Essential Criteria:
· Qualification: Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy
· Registration: Current general registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist
Selection Criteria:
1. Demonstrated clinical experience in a rehabilitation or acute setting including experience in discharge planning, home assessment, home modifications and equipment prescription.
2. Experience working with clients in neurological and complex medical, surgical, and orthopaedic conditions.
3. Skills in planning, implementing, and evaluating intervention programmes.
4. Ability to work both independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
5. Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills and effective time management and organisational skills.
6. Commitment to ongoing education, professional development, and quality improvement.
7. Current NSW Driver’s Licence
