- Certificate IV qualifications within an exercise / fitness discipline or willingness and commitment to obtain, or extensive relevant experience.
- Demonstrated experience in exercise prescription and delivery for groups in a health setting or equivalent.
- Demonstrated understanding of and interest in and commitment to the promotion of health of older men and women, people with chronic disease and people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds
- Demonstrated high level communication skills to deliver exercise classes and engage with all stakeholders
- Sound administrative, organisational skills and computer literacy
- Current drivers licence with a willingness to travel in accordance with the demands of the position.
