About the role:
You will have the option to work 8–10 hour shifts, scheduled around the department's peak activity periods, with flexible arrangements available.
To aid your success in this role, you will be supported by a high performing leadership team and a Clinical Nurse Educator, who will deliver a structured and tailored professional development plan. Comprehensive training and orientation will be available, depending on your prior experience and skill set. Our ED has a large number of clinical nurse specialists with a vast knowledge set also able to assist you.
Manning Hospital is a Level 4 Rural Referral Hospital consisting of 180 beds with a variety of specialty clinical areas, including Critical Care, ED and Operating Theatres.
You should have:
- Experience in recording of electrocardiograms (ECG) or a willingness to learn.
- Venepuncture and cannulation competency certificate, or a willingness to learn
- Willingness to undertake training to achieve the dimensions of this role supported by the leadership team of the hospital.
