- Bachelor or post graduate degree in Speech Pathology and eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia. Holds a valid NSW Drivers License.
- Demonstrated well-developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders. Demonstrated computer literacy and ability to use health information systems.
- Demonstrate skills and knowledge in the provision of Speech Pathology service to consumers, carers and families requiring assessment, case management, intervention, appropriate referral and discharge planning.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise and manage workload demands, meet deadlines and complete activities (including ability to work within scope of practice and seek assistance when required). Commitment to participation in professional development and quality improvement activities.
- Experience in instrumental swallowing assessment (VFSS / FEES) and SPEAK OUT!/VFSS certification or willingness to obtain.
