  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in a leadership and management with demonstrated experience and understanding of health processes in relationship to speciality programs, contracts, finance and not for profit organisations.
  • Demonstrated strong leadership skills and ability to work autonomously to enhance staff performance, influence workplace culture, and lead change.
  • Demonstrated advanced level strategic and operational management skills for managing several Ministry of Health programs within the Far West Local Health District
  • Highly developed communication, interpersonal and influencing skills to maintain partnerships with internal and external stakeholders including Ministry of Health, senior management, project team partners, consumers, and other key stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated capacity to manage complex health and/or community service-related projects and change initiatives to achieve planned outcomes, including project planning, financial monitoring and management, and project evaluation and reporting.
  • Demonstrated high level analytical and problem-solving skills including the ability to provide authoritative advice and recommendations across a large and complex organisation.
  • Strong clinical and corporate governance and risk awareness to report accurately on the current and future landscape of the district.
  • Current drivers’ licence (with a willingness to travel in accordance with the demands of the position).
