- Must hold a bachelor or post graduate degree in Speech Pathology which is accredited as eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia.
- Demonstrated experience supervising staff and/or students.
- Demonstrated leadership in the planning, implementation and evaluation of local service delivery incorporating the quality improvement process.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, computer literacy and time management.
- Demonstrated commitment to EBP and experience implementing EBP into service planning and evaluation of service changes.
- Advanced clinical knowledge and postgraduate experience and skills in managing adult hospital acute and subacute dysphagia and communication caseloads.
- Experience in the analysis and reporting on objective swallow studies such as VFSS.
- Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
