What you will bring to the role:
- Degree in Medical Radiation Science and registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APHRA) as a Medical Radiation Practitioner (Diagnostic Radiography).
- Post Graduate Diploma or master’s degree in Medical Ultrasound and registration with Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR).
- Demonstrated high level of knowledge and clinical expertise in Ultrasound with the ability to perform a full range of complex examinations.
- Experience and proven ability to fully manage all aspects of a sectional modality. This will include the ability to establish workflows and procedures to safely maximise patient throughput.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities, communication and interpersonal skills to supervise teams and work effectively in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Demonstrated well developed problem solving and clinical reasoning skills
- Demonstrated ability to supervise, instruct and mentor other MRS's, undergraduates and other health professionals.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment
