About the role
Join the dynamic Safeguards’ Child and Adolescent Mental Health Response Team and make a difference in the lives of children and adolescents in acute mental health distress. Reporting to the Safeguards’ Team Leader, you'll play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care, including the planning, coordination, and provision of evidence based, trauma informed, and developmentally appropriate assessment and treatment to children and adolescents (0 to 17 years) in acute mental health distress, and their families.
About You
We’re seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist with a deep understanding of mental health practices and trauma-informed care principles. Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications as an Occupational Therapist.
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Eligibility for Level 3 of the NSW Health Service Health Professionals (State) Award.
- Current unrestricted Australian drivers’ licence.
