An exciting opportunity exists to join the Digital Health Services team as a Senior Network Specialist. This role is based on the NSW Central Coast.

Where you'll be working
Digital Health Services - based on the NSW Central Coast.
What you'll be doing
Responsible for assisting with the effective architecture, planning, management and day to day running of the Local Health District's (LHD) voice and data infrastructure. This includes management of all network hardware and software, PABX hardware and software as well as security and administration of the network.
People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Demonstrated experience in complex network environments, conducting network operations and fault diagnosis tasks and detailed knowledge of TCPIP and LAN / WAN routing and switching protocols
- Demonstrated competence in configuration and implementation of Cisco switches and routers and experience in design and implementation of security systems including Cisco ASA Firewalls, Cisco IOS ISE, Access Lists and IPSEC based VPNs
- Strong knowledge of Layer 2, 3, and 4 Cisco Switching implementations and experience in the operation of network analysis equipment with the ability to interpret packet traces to assist in fault diagnoses and resolution
