What you'll be doing
The Asset Management Reporting Officer within the Sydney Children's Hospitals Network (SCHN) is part of an Asset Management Unit which leads the ongoing continuous improvement of our approach to asset management, in line with the NSW Health Asset Management Strategy. This role provides professional administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the Asset Management Unit. This includes delivering high-level administrative and clerical support to the Asset Management Unit to achieve their objectives. The position is essential for maintaining efficient asset management within the organisation by offering dedicated administrative services to the asset management team.
  1. Demonstrated experience in administration, preferably within asset management, business administration, finance or a similar field, including data management, reporting, and analysis.
  2. Proficiency in using asset management software and databases, with strong computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  3. Ability to learn asset management principles, practices, lifecycle management in a complex healthcare sector environment.
  4. Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with high-level administrative and clerical proficiency, including minute-taking and document preparation.
  5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong interpersonal abilities to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
  6. Meticulous attention to detail for accurate data entry and reporting, with demonstrated problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to process improvement.
  7. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work environments, with a willingness to undertake further training, and proven ability to work effectively as part of a team, supporting cross-functional collaboration.
