What you'll be doing
The position will be responsible for providing expert advice and services on all facets of facilities management including the provision of advice on the preparation of specifications, drawings, quotations/ cost estimates, productivity and technical reports for the installations, refurbishment, construction and compliance with codes, standard and procedures for the SCH1/CCCC Redevelopment Project. The position will report to the SCH Corporate Services Manager and will provide guidance and advice to the Change & Commissioning Coordinators for the SCH Redevelopment.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications such as project management or engineering or a combination of study and work experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge, experiences in the Mandatory Regulations pertaining to the Hospital environment and including the Building Code of Australia and Fire Regulations/ Codes.
- Demonstrated skills in managing several projects concurrently, with varying timeframes and workloads, in a high-volume work environment.
- Highly developed communication, interpersonal and influencing skills.
- Demonstrated a high level analytical and problem solving skills including the ability to provide authoritative advice and recommendation across a large and complex organisation.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with senior management and other stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in planning and evaluation at strategic and service levels.
