About the role:


The Registered Nurse plays a crucial role in delivering personalised, high-quality nursing care to residents, ensuring their clinical needs and goals are met. Each day brings new challenges, providing opportunities for close interaction with residents in a homelike setting. You will focus on supporting residents in living life to the fullest, maintaining a balance of thorough care and respect for their individual preferences. Your responsibilities will include developing and evaluating care plans, working alongside a dedicated team, and providing compassionate, patient-centred care that aligns with evidence-based practices.

The Health Service Manager values work-life balance and offers flexibility to ensure staff well-being. You'll receive comprehensive onboarding, including orientation and weekly support from a Clinical Nurse Educator, along with access to online learning through My Health Learning. Where you’ll be working:

The Werris Creek MPS, positioned at the peak of North St, offers stunning views to the east and boasts a 16-bed facility, comprising 12 permanent residential beds and 4 sub-acute beds. The MPS team, known for their friendliness and extensive local knowledge, some of whom have served for many years, contribute to a welcoming and informative environment. The facility prides itself on a dedicated staff and a positive working atmosphere.

The township of Werris Creek is located off the New England Highway 373 km north of Sydney, 44 km south-west of Tamworth and 19 km north of Quirindi.

  • *Based on a minimum 18-month commitment to the position. All payments made to part time employees will be on a pro-rata basis.
