About the role

At the North Coast Cancer Institute, we pride ourselves on providing high quality patient care. We are currently seeking Radiation Therapists to join our team in the beautiful Northern Rivers region. As a Radiation Therapist based in Lismore, you’ll experience a collaborative and nurturing environment with regular rotations through CT, Planning, and Treatment, while receiving support and guidance from a dedicated Radiation Therapist Educator and expert Senior Radiation Therapists.


Our Lismore department will be one of the first sites in Australia to install dual Elekta EVO linear accelerators (early 2025), with adaptive workflow capabilities. Our modern services include IMRT/VMAT, comprehensive stereotactic services, SGRT (including tattoo-less techniques), 4DCT, and image-guided treatment protocols, fostering opportunities for professional growth and service improvement through projects and research initiatives. Career development pathways exist for those with an interest in technical expertise and operational leadership.


Our team operate within a virtual planning environment that leverages best practices and the collective experience of our team from across our local health network. Our dynamic approach ensures there is a balanced distribution of workload across our sites, in line with skill mix and development needs of our team.
