What you'll be doing
  • The Patient Experience Officer is a passionate, empathetic individual who cares deeply about people particularly our vulnerable populations
  • This position is responsible for enhancing communication, particularly between the patient, families, carers and clinical staff
  • In all areas of the Broken Hill Health Service including presentations of the Emergency and COVID-19 departments, the focus of the role is maintaining and improving the experience for patients and their carers to promote, foster and enhance a greater patient experience through positive and effective communication

  • Demonstrated extensive experience in customer service.
  • Excellent communication, including interpersonal and negotiation skills, with a demonstrated ability to effectively manage relationships and work as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated time management and organisation skills, including the ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Demonstrates high level of computer literacy skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, data management systems or willingness to learn.
  • Demonstrated ability to problem solve, and work in a multidisciplinary environment.
