The Junior Medical Recruitment & Transactions Team is part of the Medical Workforce Unit. The JMO Recruitment and Transactions Officer will be responsible for high quality and consistent advice and processing in relation to the recruitment, selection, onboarding, contract management and personnel administration of Junior Medical Officers and other non-specialist medical staff within NBMLHD. JMO recruitment involves an annual bulk recruitment campaign, ad hoc advertising and appointments, and supporting the employee experience from initial application through to onboarding and orientation, rotations and ongoing compliance.

This role is responsible for providing recruitment and transactions related support to departments and the processing of all recruitment and workforce transaction matters relating to non-specialist medical staff.

What you will bring to the role:
- Relevant experience working within a recruitment and/or transactions environment for a large and complex organisation.
- Demonstrated ability to develop positive and productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
- Demonstrated excellent time management, analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to work independently while actively contributing to the outcomes of a team.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and accurate data entry skills.
- Demonstrated experience in the use of Microsoft Office packages (including Word, Outlook and Excel), Human Resources Information Systems and electronic recruitment systems.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply written policies, procedures and Awards.
