Nepean Hospital is a teaching hospital that provides tertiary referral services in emergency care, coronary care, diagnostics, gynaecology, paediatric, neonatal intensive care/ICU, maternity, mental health, rehabilitation, and surgery. The incumbent will be part of a multidisciplinary team working alongside with them at patient-related meetings and case conferences. The position contributes to the development of patient education resources, programs, and nutrition care plans as required. As the Dietitian, you will ensure the provision of high quality, evidence based nutrition care to inpatients and outpatients undergoing treatment for cancer. The incumbent may be required to supervise clinical and food service dietetic students.

What you will bring to the role:
- Tertiary qualifications in Nutrition and Dietetics and eligible for full membership of the Dietitians Association of Australia.
- Experience working as a fully qualified Dietitian in nutritional management of inpatients and/or outpatients with cancer and other life-limiting illnesses.
- Commitment to professional development and experience with quality improvement principles and evidence based practice within the hospital and community settings.
- Demonstrated evidence of excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work well as part of a team and independently.
- Excellent time management and prioritisation skills, including evidence of successfully managing a large workload within a busy environment.
- Current Driver’s Licence and willingness to use for work purpose travel.
