About us:
The Muswellbrook Dental Clinic is a 2-chair clinic and the Scone Clinic is a 1 chair school clinic that provides high quality care to adults and children in the Muswellbrook and Scone community and the surrounding communities.

Operating 5 days per week from 8:30am to 5:00pm, Muswellbrook and Scone Dental Clinic are clinics that work collaboratively to provide excellent care for patients.

About the role:
As the Dental Assistant Clinic Coordinator, you will provide guidance and direction to the Dental Assistants and Administration Officers to ensure the effective and efficient functioning of the Muswellbrook and Scone dental clinic. This position will involve both administration and Dental Assistant duties.

You will be provided with ongoing support, and a thorough orientation program will be provided by the Oral Health management team to ensure your success and professional development in this position.

About you:
The successful candidate will possess a professional and compassionate attitude with strong communication skills that are utilised to build relationships and communicate effectively with the team and patients and carers. Your experience in Dental Assisting and ability to provide supervision, be a role model and motivate staff within the clinic will be the key to your success in this position.
  • Completion of a nationally recognised Dental Assisting Certificate course at Certificate Level III or qualifications deemed by the Ministry to be equivalent and progressing towards or willing to obtain a Certificate IV.
