The Fertility and Research Centre (FRC) seeks to provide every patient at risk of reproductive complications (medical and psychological) with consultation, equitable access to fertility preservation procedures, to assisted reproductive treatment and fertility related support. The FRC Clinical Psychologist will provide clinical expertise in counselling for patients accessing fertility and assisted reproductive technology regarding the emotional impacts of their diagnosis and treatment.

Selection Criteria:
- Full Registration with Psychology Board of Australia (PsyBA), along with Endorsement in Clinical Psychology (or eligibility to progress towards same). Two-year full-time equivalent accredited postgraduate Masters/Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology.
- Demonstrated clinical experience in provision of psychological interventions and evaluation of clinical outcomes in a health setting working with reproductive health patients.
- Demonstrated high level of clinical knowledge and skills around reproductive health, reproductive loss and fertility issues, with eligibility for membership of ANZICA (Australian and New Zealand Infertility Counsellors Association).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including negotiation, decision making and advocacy skills including the ability to interact constructively and collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders throughout all organisational levels.
- Extensive ability to work effectively within the multidisciplinary team, prioritise workload and to apply advanced reasoning skills and independent professional judgment when dealing with situations of a novel, complex or critical nature.
- Demonstrated ability to provide high level advice and education to enhance service delivery and to guide and support others in providing service excellence.
- Demonstrated experience in clinical research, or ability to develop skills in clinical research.
