Located in the hinterland of the mid-North Coast, Bellingen punches well above its weight in terms of arts and culture, foodie delights and outdoor activities - and makes the perfect base to explore the natural attractions along the scenic Waterfall Way, including dramatic waterfalls, World Heritage-listed rainforest and river activities.
BRDH is a 42-bed facility (D1 Community Acute with Surgery) providing a range of services including 24-hour Emergency medicine, General medicine, Rehabilitation and Palliative care services, and Day Surgery (Gastroenterology).
Bellinger River District Hospital has been servicing its community and surrounds since its opening in July 1903. The hospital is located on the outskirts of the Bellingen township overlooking the valley.
The hospital works closely with Coffs Harbour Health Campus as a part of the Coffs Clinical Network (CCN), in the Mid North Coast Local Health District (MNCLHD).
There are also a range of Community and Allied Health services based at the hospital, including Community Nursing and Outpatient services for Physiotherapy, Podiatry and Speech Pathology.

Salary will be accordance with NSW Health State Awards for the advertised classification/s. These awards are available at http://www.health.nsw.gov.au/careers/conditions/pages/default.aspx.
A TALENT POOL MAY BE CREATED FOR FUTURE ROLES AND WILL REMAIN VALID FOR 18 MONTHS.
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia who holds relevant clinical or education post registration qualifications or such educational or clinical experience deemed appropriate by the employer.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively with others, and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrated commitment and responsibility for professional practices through the development of self and others
- Competence in the delivery of adult education at a ward/unit level and understanding of learning and assessment principles.
- Demonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology and written, verbal and interpersonal skills
- Current NSW driver's licence and ability and willingness to travel for work purposes
