Speech Pathologist Level 1/2: $1,407.22 - $2,007.58 per week
Registered Nurse: $1,382.80 - $1,941.40 per week

About the Opportunity
The Clinical Assessor provides a complex aged care assessment using the Integrated Assessment Tool (IAT) addressing the medical, physical, cognitive, psychosocial, cultural, environmental and social aspects of older people referred for assessment via My Aged Care.
The Clinical Assessor will also formulate a support plan that best meets the needs of the older person and their carer with the resources available.
The Permanent Full Time opportunity is available only at Bowral. The Temporary Full Time opportunity location is negotiable between Bankstown, Camden and Liverpool.

- Tertiary qualifications in a health-related discipline directly related to health, aged care, or related specialist area. E.g. registered nurses, medical officers, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and social workers
- Current unrestricted registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or part of or eligible to be part of a relevant professional association.
- Willingness to undertake the Transition Training (during the Program Transition Period).
- Completion of training requirements as specified under the My Aged Care Workforce Learning Strategy 2023.
- Minimum of one year demonstrated experience in delivering services in aged care settings and/or to aged persons (such as geriatric evaluation, rehabilitation, palliative care, community nursing), including to people living with dementia.
- Demonstrated understanding/experience of the provision of community-based support services to the aged reflecting wellness/reablement approach to clients, including assessment, care planning, monitoring, and evaluation processes.
- Sound computer literacy skills with competency in Word and Excel
- Previous experience performing in a KPI environment to ensure good quality client outcomes.
- Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
