We have an opportunity for a dedicated Registered Nurse to work on a Part time basis in our Child & Family Health Service. You work within a dedicated multi-disciplinary team environment operating within a primary health care model that emphasises a holistic, strengths-based approach with families, caregivers, infants, and young children. In this role, you will support breastfeeding and lactation, deliver nursing interventions to help achieve health and well-being goals, and ensure precise documentation and reporting in the appropriate electronic systems.
About You
- You have current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- You have demonstrated post registration experience in Child and Family Health working with children aged 0-5.
- You have demonstrated ability to identify, address and respond appropriately to safety concerns for infants and children, with demonstrated experience in consulting and responding to instances where an infant or child is at risk of significant harm (ROSH).
- You have fantastic communication skills including verbal, written and interpersonal skills and can liaise effectively with parents/carers/families and members of the multidisciplinary health team.
