Employment of a temporary visa holder may only occur if no suitable permanent resident or citizen of Australia has been identified for this position following suitable labour market testing.
- MBBS or equivalent, currently registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia
- Eligible for Advanced Training in Infectious Diseases, Royal Australasian College of Physicians
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary clinical team diligence, punctuality, organisation, record keeping, time management, problem solving skills, team work
- Commitment to continuous quality improvement
- Successful completion of RACP written and clinical examinations, or equivalent, and/or previous experience in infectious diseases and/or microbiology
