About the Role:
You’ll be part of a close-knit, multidisciplinary team of 25, including health workers, midwives, child and family health nurses, social worker and other Aboriginal health workers and practitioners . Together we provide culturally safe and effective care for our families.
Your work will involve:
- Engaging with the community and local Aboriginal services.
- Taking part in culturally significant days and community events.
- Advocating for families in mainstream health services.
- Supporting maternal and infant health while understanding and addressing community needs.
- Your week will include visiting clinics, collaborating with team members, and returning to the supportive environment of our Hunter Street Health office.

Additional Information:
- An eligibility list will be created for future permanent full or part time and temporary full or part time vacancies.
- To be eligible for permanent employment in this position you must be an Australian Citizen, or a permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand Passport.
