About the role

Come join the fantastic team that supports the Statewide Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS). This is an online system designed to help manage administrative and financial workflows associated with clinical trials delivery. This role is well suited to anyone interested in systems, data, training, and support

Crown Clerk 7/8, starting salary from $113,574 - $125,720 p.a. plus Super and annual leave loading, with a 35-hour work week, principal work location; 1 Reserve Road, St Leonards with remote working opportunities. Occasional travel required to provide in person support to trial sites across NSW.

What you'll be doing 
The role of a CTMS project officer is to support the Statewide Clinical Trial Management System, you’ll do this by helping train and support hospital trial staff who are using the system, develop support resources, create reports, and assist with system configuration. 

Other responsibilities include

  • Working across a diverse range of roles and ICT proficiency levels to support staff to learn and use software designed to manage clinical trials 
  • Building and maintaining collaborative relationships within Local Health Districts (LHDs), hospitals and health services
  • Coordinating and delivering support and training to clinical trial sites across NSW either virtually or in person
  • Managing email responses, configuration of accounts, competency assessments and other internal work processes
  • Presenting project updates at local and national events
  • Working with data in the CTMS to inform reports, briefs, and written communications as required. 


About you
We are seeking motivated and committed individuals who can support the work of NSW Health with:

  • Experience supporting or coordinating clinical trials delivery within a public hospital or health service
  • Great communication skills, and ability to present and adapt information to diverse audiences
  • Good understanding of project management principles
  • Learning mindset and ability to adopt new systems and processes
  • Experience using the Statewide CTMS is preferred but not required
