About the role:

This role works within a small team, and as such has a variety of work and the opportunity for professional development. This role will require skills in analysis and the ability to translate this data into meaningful insights and display data to assist the LHDs and the EIST team through power BI dashboards. There will be a variety of projects that the successful candidate will be part of the project team, and good communication skills both verbally and written are required. 

 

Health Manager level 3 starting salary from $127,150 - $144,444 plus Super, with a 38-hour work week.


What you’ll be doing

 

The role will focus on business data analysis and identifies opportunities for process improvement including the building and maintaining of Power BI dashboards. The role will be an integral member of any projects that the Performance and Analytic team undertakes and plays a crucial role in building and maintaining relationships with project partners and stakeholders.

 

About you:

 

We are seeking motivated and committed individuals who can support the work of NSW Health with: 

  • Demonstrated technical capability in relation to Microsoft SQL Server, Power BI and Reporting Services, data warehousing, data visualization and automation techniques using popular industry software packages and relevant scripting or programming languages.
  • Extensive experience managing the review and analysis of complex ICT business processes and services in a large and complex service industry organisation, including relevant qualifications or equivalent. This includes demonstrated experience in improving business performance by adopting innovative business analysis solutions.
  • Extensive experience in analysing, working, testing, and maintaining service management systems as well as delivering project outcomes on time and to the expected levels of quality, including the demonstrated ability to identify and manage risks within a project.
  • Strong analytical and product management skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret user business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
  • Previous project management experience, preferably with a healthcare setting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group including executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
