Nepean Hospital is a teaching hospital that provides tertiary referral services in emergency care, coronary care, diagnostics, gynaecology, paediatric, neonatal intensive care/ICU, maternity, mental health, rehabilitation, and surgery. The Nepean Campus has recently experienced tremendous growth and aims to support communities within and outside of Sydney’s western suburbs, providing world-class clinical facilities, services, and care.
A fabulous opportunity is now available to join the NBMLHD Facilities team as a Wardsperson on a casual basis, located at Nepean Hospital.
The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting patients and items throughout the hospital and providing assistance to patients within the clinical setting. Services must be performed in a courteous and efficient manner with particular attention to customer service.
Working with the Facilities Team will allow you to meet the needs of staff, patients and their families whilst working in a diverse team demonstrating CORE values whilst providing exceptional person-centered care.

What you will bring to the role
- Able to demonstrate a good understanding of customer service
- Ability to work Mornings, Evenings & Night duty shifts, across a 7 day week roster
- Able to demonstrate problem solving an prioritisation skills in a work environment
- Be able to meet the physical demands of the position as listed in the physical requirements in the position description
- Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills
- Able to demonstrate a reasonable understanding of work health and safety
- Current driver's licence and willingness to use for work purpose travel
