About the Opportunity

NSW Health is working towards the launch of an integrated system that enables the rapid and effective response to emerging and notifiable conditions of public health significance. As a Solution architect within eHealth NSW Program Architecture and Delivery Directorate, you will be responsible for the technology solutions, architecture, design and development of the SIGNAL program. This includes mapping of business requirements to technical requirements to meet the SIGNAL program business objectives, in alignment with the enterprise architectural plan of NSW Health.

The role will report to the Program Manager of the SIGNAL program. The SIGNAL program will deliver a new surveillance solution to improve our statewide response to major public health risks. The program is a partnership between Health Protection NSW and eHealth NSW.

In this role, you will:

  • Drive the overall technology solutions, architecture, design, and development for the SIGNAL program.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop high-level and detailed technical design specifications that are aligned with the overall solution architecture to support SIGNAL Program objectives.

  • Develop high-level and detailed technical design specifications that are aligned with the overall solution architecture.

  • Ensure that solutions are aligned with the organisation's technology road map and architecture principles.

     

About you

The skills and experience we are looking for in you include:

  • Experience developing technology solutions architecture and mapping the business requirements to systems/technical requirements to ensure they are in line with the enterprise architectural plan.

  • Experience providing strategic direction around standards and solutions best practices to assist in the development of the solutions that maximise the return on technology investment.
