Achieve Something Great
The Registered Midwife – Perinatal Loss and Bereavement role offers the opportunity to provide high quality, compassionate and evidence based care to women and families experiencing perinatal loss, including miscarriage, stillbirth, neonatal death and termination of pregnancy. You will play a vital role in supporting grieving families, coordinating personalised care pathways, and ensuring respectful, dignified care throughout their experience.
Working within the maternity service at Campbelltown Hospital, you will also provide clinical leadership and education to staff, helping to embed best practice bereavement care across the service. The role includes contributing to the Early Pregnancy Assessment Service, supporting day to day workflows as required and strengthening continuity of care for women in early pregnancy.
Are You the Right Fit?
You are an experienced and compassionate midwife with a strong background in perinatal loss care and/or Early Pregnancy Assessment Services. You are committed to delivering woman and family-centred care and are confident supporting families through sensitive processes such as memory making, postmortem decisions, funeral planning and follow up care.
You bring strong interpersonal and communication skills and are able to act as a trusted resource for midwifery and maternity staff. You provide guidance during acute loss events and contribute to staff wellbeing, debriefing and education initiatives. If you are passionate about supporting families during some of their most vulnerable moments, this role offers a meaningful and rewarding opportunity to make a lasting difference.
