What you'll be doing
In this hands-on role, you will contribute to the safe and efficient delivery of pharmacy services, supporting medication supply, dispensing and production activities across the service. Job share applications will be considered. Applicants must clearly specify in their application whether they are applying for the full three (3) days per week or seeking a job share arrangement (e.g. two days per week). Where applying for a job share, applicants must also clearly outline their availability and any limitations regarding preferred or non‑available days. Approval of any job share arrangement will be subject to the successful appointment of a suitably qualified applicant to cover the remaining days of the three‑day role.
Assist with medication distribution to ensure safe and accurate supply
Support dispensing and pharmaceutical production activities
Prepare sterile and non-sterile products in line with protocols
Maintain compliance with legislation, policies and quality standards
Contribute to quality improvement and performance programs

Essential Criteria
Qualifications: Applicants without a nationally recognised pharmacy qualification will be classified as Pharmacy Assistant Grade 1.
Pharmacy Assistant Grade 2 - Certificate II or III in Community Pharmacy provided by Pharmacy Guild/PSA.
Pharmacy Technician Grade 1 – Certificate III in Hospital/Health Services Pharmacy Support.
Pharmacy Technician Grade 2 - Certificate IV in Hospital/Health Services Pharmacy Support.
Selection Criteria
Demonstrated good communication skills.
Demonstrated satisfactory pharmacy dispensing experience in Australia (or equivalent).
Demonstrated ability to prioritise large workload and have good time management skills.
Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Willing and able to participate in sterile (including cytotoxic) manufacturing.
Must be willing and able to work late shifts and overtime on weekends as required.
