- Conduct advanced analyses of current and projected health demand, supply, and service utilisation, and provide expert interpretation.
- Support modelling to assess the impact of changes in health service activity, care processes, and models of care on patient outcomes and service access.
- Perform statistical and economic analyses to inform resourcing strategies, clinical redesign projects, and ACI initiatives.

What you will be doing
The Data and Statistical Analyst is responsible for the provision of sophisticated health related data analysis and interpretation which will be used to inform a key strategic projects of the ACI. A core function of the position is to ensure that the analysis undertaken is comprehensive, utilises relevant data sources and stakeholder appropriate.

Remuneration: $127,150.00 – $144,444.00 per annum excluding Superannuation

Questions
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field and demonstrated experience using R/SAS or statistical packages. Demonstrated high level analytical skills to undertake complex statistical analysis using multiple data sources. Health data experience are preferred.
- Ability to collaborate and negotiate with others to design analyses that will assist in informing decisions regarding new approaches to health service delivery. Experience creating visualisations and/or dashboards. Power BI skills are favourable.
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects within a multidisciplinary team environment and interact and work effectively with senior management and external stakeholders to deliver projects.
- The ability to clearly and confidently communicate complex analytical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences, including clinicians and policy makers, both verbally and in writing.
