As the Culture and Staff Experience Project Officer, you’ll support the delivery of positive and proactive People and Culture strategies across Hunter New England Local Health District (HNELHD).

You will support a range of Culture and Staff Experience strategies such as Diversity, Inclusion, & Belonging, Wellbeing, Reward & Recognition, Safety, Training and Development and Communication, Consultation & Feedback.

In this brand-new role, you will be supported by the Culture and Staff Experience Coordinator and the Culture and Staff Experience Lead.

  • You are detail-oriented and enjoy intricate work, including maintaining and interpreting data sources, award and policy requirements; with the ability to ensure integrity and accuracy in your work
  • You are enthusiastic, positive, have a ‘can-do’ attitude and a calm and helpful approach. The ability to listen first, gather information, consider options, and formulate a plan is paramount.
  • You will have excellent attention to detail and time management skills and be open to exploring new ways of doing things. You will be quick, sharp, and understand that this is a fact paced, demanding role which requires you to pivot seamlessly between priorities and deadlines.
