This is an opportunity for a motivated person to join our dynamic and innovative HITH team. Where you'll be working
Hospital in the Home in NSLHD. Our administration team is primarily based at RNSH campus. At times you may be required to travel to our other sites at Mona Vale Community Health Centre (MVCHC), and Hornsby Ku-ring-gai (HKH).

What you'll be doing
Supporting our HITH team delivering high quality care. Undertaking the administration aspect of patient flow, admitting, discharging patients, and maintaining the HITH admission database. Answering phones and directing calls to the wider HITH team. You will also be the first point of contact for patients in the HITH clinic. This role involves managing competing priorities and demands for a busy service. As well as other clerical office duties.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

  1. Excellent communication skills including accurate spelling, good comprehension, confidence in the spoken word and ability to deal confidently and courteously with people at all levels.
  2. Demonstrated experience in Microsoft platforms eg; Word, Excel; and a sound knowledge of Cerner Health platform e.g: eMR, Scheduling, Content Manager.
  3. Demonstrated strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
