We are looking for an experienced part time Administrative Officer to join an innovative multidisciplinary team. The position is based at Clinic 16, a public health service focusing on Sexually Transmitted Infections and HIV management. This position is required to cover one late clinic a week.

Where you'll be working
The position is based at Royal North Shore Community Health Centre at St Leonard’s.

What you'll be doing

The Administration officer will provide secretarial, front office and reception services in a professional and sensitive manner. Comply and adhere to statutory requirements, services policies, and practices and procedures. Develop and maintain effective relationships with management and staff at all levels of the organisation. Prioritise workload, ensuring administrative tasks are delegated appropriately and completed in a timely manner.

People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria

  1. Experience in medical office procedures with capacity to undertake a range of administrative tasks.
  2. Demonstrated interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) with the ability to liaise with effectively with a diverse range of people in a calm and respectful way.
  3.  Ability to be self-motivated with good time management skills.
