About Us
Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District (NBMLHD) is a wonderful place to expand your career and grow your skills and knowledge. As a recognised leader in the healthcare industry, we provide a range of public health services to the Nepean, Blue Mountains, and Lithgow Region.

Nepean Hospital is a teaching hospital that provides tertiary referral services in emergency care, coronary care, diagnostics, gynaecology, paediatric, neonatal intensive care/ICU, maternity, mental health, rehabilitation, and surgery. The Nepean Campus has recently experienced tremendous growth and aims to support communities within and outside of Sydney’s western suburbs, providing world-class clinical facilities, services, and care.

An exciting opportunity is available to join our Cardiac Diagnostic Services as an Administration Officer, where you will play a vital role in supporting patients, families, and staff. In this frontline position, you will ensure that all enquiries from patients and visitors are handled courteously and professionally, recognising that you may be the first point of contact and impression of the hospital.

Maintaining a high standard of patient confidentiality is essential, as the incumbent will manage appointment books for the Cardiac Vascular Ultrasound Laboratory (CVUL). In addition, the role will work collaboratively with other hospital departments to organise tests, appointments, and patient transfers, ensuring smooth coordination across services. This role also involves providing administrative support to CVUL staff members, contributing to the efficient operation of the unit and the delivery of compassionate, patient-centred care.

If you are organised and committed to supporting both patients and staff in a dynamic hospital environment, we encourage you to apply today!
