Employment with Mid North Coast LHD requires candidates to hold a valid authority to work in Australia (Aust Work Rights Visa). 

What you'll be doing
Practicing and promoting safe, efficient and effective nursing care that reflects current standards of nursing practices and current Mid North Coast Local Health District policies and procedures.  

About You
 You are a dedicated and highly capable Registered Nurse with current registration through the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia. You bring well‑developed clinical knowledge, practical nursing skills, and sound judgement that enable you to deliver safe, effective care within both outpatient and acute hospital environments.

You demonstrate strong clinical problem‑solving abilities, allowing you to assess patient needs, respond to changing conditions, and optimise care outcomes. Your communication skills are a key strength—whether through clear documentation, confident verbal communication, or effective use of clinical information systems, you ensure continuity and quality of care across all interactions.

You work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams, contributing to coordinated, outcome‑focused care planning. Your ability to prioritise, organise, and manage patient care reflects your commitment to high standards of practice and patient wellbeing.

You are reliable, adaptable, and prepared to participate fully in a seven‑day rotating roster, including night duty and public holidays, demonstrating your flexibility and commitment to service delivery.
