About Us
Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District (NBMLHD) is a wonderful place to expand your career and grow your skills and knowledge. As a recognised leader in the healthcare industry, we provide a range of public health services to the Nepean, Blue Mountains, and Lithgow Region.

Nepean Hospital is a teaching hospital that provides tertiary referral services in emergency care, coronary care, diagnostics, gynaecology, paediatric, neonatal intensive care/ICU, maternity, mental health, rehabilitation, and surgery. The Nepean Campus has recently experienced tremendous growth and aims to support communities within and outside of Sydney’s western suburbs, providing world-class clinical facilities, services, and care.

We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to support the safe, efficient, and effective distribution of pharmaceuticals during weekends across our wards and departments. Reporting to the Director of Pharmacy, you will play a key role in medication supply, preparation of sterile and non-sterile products, and the accurate dispensing of prescriptions, all under the supervision of a registered pharmacist.

In this dynamic role, you will assist with both inpatient and outpatient dispensing, including specialised programs such as S100, SAS, and clinical trials. You will also be involved in pre-packing and labelling pharmaceuticals, maintaining detailed and tidy records, and ensuring all equipment is kept clean and in working order. Responsibilities will extend to preparing resuscitation trays, non-sterile products, and eventually sterile products, with full training and supervision provided.

If you are organised, reliable, and ready to contribute to a vital healthcare service, this is your opportunity to grow your career with a committed and supportive Nepean pharmacy team. Apply Today!
