The Nepean Pharmacy team is seeking to engage a Senior Inpatient Pharmacist to oversee the delivery of high-quality pharmacy services, including after-hours support, while directly reporting to the Director of Pharmacy. This is a pivotal position that combines clinical excellence with operational leadership, guiding a team of pharmacists, interns, technicians, assistants, and support staff.
Beyond providing pharmaceutical care to patients across the hospital and affiliated institutions, you’ll take charge of supervising drug distribution processes to ensure safe and accurate medication delivery. You’ll also lead patient service, clinical engagement, and educational activities within your designated areas, all while upholding the hospital’s commitment to professionalism, compassion, and service excellence.

What you will bring to the role
- Full registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia with no restrictions on scope of practice
- Relevant clinical pharmacy experience and self-motivation to further develop and improve skills relevant to current practice
- Demonstrated commitment to teamwork and also ability to work independently
- Demonstrated time management skills
- Good verbal and written communication
- Good problem-solving skills
