Prince of Wales Hospital is a major teaching hospital and tertiary referral centre, delivering high-quality healthcare to communities in South Eastern Sydney and specialist services across New South Wales.
Each year, the hospital’s Emergency Department treats over 60,000 patients, with approximately 50,000 inpatient admissions. Its outpatient and rural outreach services provide more than 900,000 occasions of non-admitted patient care annually.

The role
The Senior Analyst Integration is responsible for determining, developing and supporting interfaces and the process requirements pertaining to integration application development activities.
The incumbent will utilize experience with healthcare data integration, computer system integration concepts, application integration development to achieve the objectives of Integration & Development services.
The position will support the principles of communication, collaboration and inclusion.

Selection Criteria
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or demonstrated experience in Information Systems, Integration Technology and Management.
- Proven experience in the development and/or coordination of integration solutions, using middleware such as InterSystems IRIS for Health, and of implementing integration application projects.
- Experience with the analysis of clinical or ancillary departmental processes, workflows and data requirements.
- Proven experience in the understanding of incident management, problem management, change management, risk management, application configuration management and service level management
- Demonstrated experience in system development and integration systems methodologies such as Health Level 7 and JSON/API standards.
- Demonstrated conceptual and innovative problem solving skills for managing conflicting priorities and developing, implementing and monitoring recommendations and advice on policies, strategies and solutions across complex areas.
- Excellent interpersonal communication, verbal and written skills and demonstrated ability to consult, influence and negotiate effectively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Current drivers licence (or a willingness to travel in accordance with the demands of the position).
