What you will bring to the role
- Possess the following qualifications and registrations: 1. A Degree in Medical Radiation Science in Diagnostic Radiography and a recognised sonography qualification 2. Registration with AHPRA as a Medical Radiation Practitioner. 3. I14 Radiation Licence from NSW EPA. 4. Registration with ASAR
- Demonstrated high level of knowledge and clinical expertise in Ultrasound with the ability to perform a full range of complex examinations
- Ability to supervise, instruct and mentor other MRS’ and undergraduates
- Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrated understanding of Work Health and Safety and Infection Control in a sonography context
- Demonstrated ability to problem solve and manage time effectively in a clinical environment
