An exciting opportunity has emerged for an experienced and passionate Senior Physiotherapist to step into a pivotal leadership role supporting the Parkes and Forbes Health Services in Western NSW Local Health District.
As the senior clinician within the acute care physiotherapy team, you’ll bring advanced clinical reasoning, confident decision-making and a strong commitment to best practice. You’ll provide high-level clinical care, expert supervision, and guidance for staff and students while collaborating closely with colleagues across our District to enhance service delivery.
💼 What you’ll be doing
- Deliver high-level, complex physiotherapy care with advanced clinical reasoning and independent professional judgement
- Provide leadership, clinical supervision and mentorship to staff, Allied Health Assistants and university students, fostering a strong learning culture
- Plan, implement, evaluate and report on services to ensure safe, efficient and effective physiotherapy care
- Lead ongoing quality improvement initiatives and contribute to innovative models of care across Parkes, Forbes and the wider District
- Manage team resources, recruitment, performance and development to build a high-performing physiotherapy workforce
- Provide expert consultative support to clinicians across multiple locations to ensure consistent, best-practice physiotherapy care
