About the Opportunity
As Senior Cyber Security Architect at eHealth NSW, you will play a key role in shaping and securing the digital health environment across NSW Health. You will provide expert guidance on cyber security controls, support the implementation of security frameworks, and advise on technical risk mitigation strategies.
In this role, you will:
• Provide specialist advice on cyber security controls, including ACSC Essential Eight and NSW Cyber Security Policy requirements.
• Evaluate and assess security methodologies and toolsets to identify and implement effective solutions.
• Conduct technical risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies for digital health systems.
Partner with project teams to integrate security requirements into solution design and delivery.
• Monitor emerging threats and support incident response activities with expert guidance.
About You
• Has tertiary qualifications in Information Security, Cyber Security, or a related discipline.
• Has extensive experience implementing cyber security controls and frameworks in large ICT organisations.
• Demonstrates strong understanding of ACSC Essential Eight, ISO/IEC 27001, IRAP, and NSW Cyber Security Policy.
• Possesses excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Cyber Security project delivery experience and familiarity with Essential 8 Framework are highly regarded.
