Based at North Parramatta – Cumberland Hospital. Part of Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD)

Contribute to meaningful improvements in healthcare delivery
Engage in varied and complex audit and advisory projects

What you'll be doing
As a Senior Auditor, you’ll play a key role in strengthening WSLHD’s governance by leading audits, providing expert advice, and supporting high-level decision-making across the organisation. Key responsibilities include:
Conducting audits and investigations across varied services
Advising on internal controls, risk management, and compliance
Contributing to audit planning and strategic improvement
Mentoring and supporting junior audit staff
Delivering clear, high-impact reports to senior leadership

Relevant tertiary qualifications (degree level), membership and relevant certification from the appropriate professional body (CIA, CPA or CA)
Strong knowledge and demonstrated significant experience in all facets of audit in line with applicable standards and best practice.
Superior skills and significant demonstrated experience in the interpretation and application of legislation, standards and policies applicable to a complex organisation.
Highly developed and demonstrated experience in consultation and negotiation skills and the proven ability to drive the objectives of audits and reviews.
Experience contributing and working effectively independently and in a team, as well as being self-motivated and flexible to adapt in a changing environment.
Strong analytical, research and organisational skills.
Demonstrated highly developed communication (verbal and written), coaching and facilitation skills.
Demonstrated skill in the analysis of complex issues, research, problem solving and formulating improvement strategies.
